Why it was made#
Our phone use and internet use are recorded by big tech companies and become part of the algorithm. But that is not how humans work. What is meaningful is the part we present to others when we are ready and doing it consciously. When the algorithm drives us to scroll short videos all night, that should not define who we are. I wanted a channel for people to speak for themselves, pass themselves on, and be trained into part of a future AI.
The trigger was a moment of endless scrolling without having reflected properly in a long time, feeling thoroughly sick of it, and longing for the human part that lives outside the network.
Who it is for#
People who refuse to be defined by the algorithm. People who want to express themselves properly. People who want the parts of themselves they find valuable to be trained into future AI.
How it was done, and where it got stuck#
Technically it is a structured questionnaire design. Finish answering and it outputs a format suitable for AI training directly, with no further data cleaning. That part turned out not to be hard.
The hard part is designing a flow that makes users understand the idea and actually sit down to contribute their writing. Writing about yourself takes real effort, far more than scrolling.
Where it stands#
The tool exists. What it needs now is promotion and stronger incentives to use it.
